This pack contains 2 x bottles of 2022 'True Love Waits'

 Yes, it’s back ! Albeit a slightly different wine to the 100% Nero D’avola it used to be. The last time I made this wine was in 2017. And while this rendition is comprised of entirely different varieties it does share some similarities 

This wine is an absolute stunner and is one to enjoy and watch unfurl over a few hours, or a couple of days !. It is comprised of Sangiovese, Syrah and Lambrusco. It is light, ethereal, very complex and delicately structured. It is the weight and shade of a super light Pinot Noir.. think Ganevat En Billat. 

The handling was very light and this wine was co-fermented. The fruit was lighgtly foot stomped and left to coldsoak for only 3 days before pressing off to 1 x stainless tank and 2 x small Amphora’s where slow, cool ferments ensued. The wines spent 9 months on full solids in their respective vessels after which they were racked into one stainless tank before bottling. 

The True Love waits label has always been reserved for exceptional wines over the years and this one is certainly deserving of the label. Special stuff.
